So this is the second draft of Fucking/Frickin Simple English, which I did because those accents actually do things. I did some research. Reading descriptions of what accents do doesn't do any fucking good, all I got out of Wikipedia was what I already knew: that é is "ay" and è is "eh." I don't get the rule, whatever it's called, that makes people write "an European." "European" may start with an E, but it starts with a Y sound. Y is a consonant,1 hence anything starting with that sound, regardless of the actual letter, ought to mean it's "a European." Same thing with "an historian" versus "a historian."
